A Spring Hill William Robinson man who accidentally purchased zero sugar Reed’s Ginger Beer sweetened with stevia has made it his life’s mission to eradicate stevia. After tasting the drink and slightly off after taste.
He explained that he does not want anyone else to make the same mistake that he did. He was expecting to enjoy a nice refreshing drink and at first everything was perfect, and then he tasted the stevia and knew he had made a mistake in his purchase. The moment was destroyed.
He wondered why the grocery store did not place the stevia drinks in their own section so people would not mistakenly buy them. He wondered why the FDA had failed him not requiring a large pukey faced emoji to be placed on products containing stevia.
He promptly drove to Crowder’s hardware and purchased organic garden friendly herbicide, which he then used to spray the stevia in his neighbor three doors down, Rose Santelli’s garden.
Will was not satisfied with just stopping Rose from growing stevia. He has since enrolled in flight lessons at the Brooksville airport with the goal of becoming a pilot. Once he learns to fly he plans to buy an old crop duster and really get to work fighting stevia. He has been researching where the large fields of stevia are grown and determining the best route to spray this stevia with herbicide.
He also reached out to long time friend Steve to let him know they could no longer be friends as his name was too close to stevia. Every time he saw Steve it would bring up unpleasant memories.
