The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a week off, but this reporter is paid by the story. I needed to keep the money rolling in, so I made up a game. I wrote this a couple of weeks ago, hoping to have an easy week by slipping the story in at some point. Here’s to hoping that the editor is too busy to notice that there was no game this week.
The Buccaneers opened strong, but quickly faced tailwinds. The team made some mistakes that they have to work to overcome. The offense managed to move the ball by mixing running plays with passing plays.
The defense held strong against the run. The Buccaneers’ defensive line led the charge with their stalwart play (One of the strengths of the team is the defensive line, so this is not a bad gamble.)
The fans cheered for the home team, complained about some of the calls, and enjoyed the game (This happens every time, so it is not a gamble.)
By cleverly avoiding any specifics, I created an article that I can apply to any Buccaneers game. If you think that is amazing, just wait until you read my 2028 election coverage, where both sides are accusing the other of cheating.
